Week 7, Part 3 – Spread the Word

A Christ Community Message
Safely Sheltered

Lord, where am I needing to feel safe in You today?

Isaiah 54:17
No weapon formed against you shall prosper,
And every tongue which rises against you in judgment
You shall condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,
And their righteousness is from Me,”
Says the Lord.

We declare that we are God’s people, and as His servants, we have a heritage – a promise for us, our children, and our children’s children. No weapon formed has permission to prosper against us. For as Your children, who follow Your ways and keep Your commands, we are the head and not the tail (Deuteronomy 29:13) because You are the head over all things. And just as we share in Your sufferings (1 Peter 4:13), we also share in Your blessings (John 17:22).

Colossians 2:9-10
For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority.

Lord Jesus, our Christ, and our Savior, You understand perfectly the pain and the hurt that we endure, for You suffered too (1 Peter 2:21). Savior, our Rescuer, our Shelter, our Jehovah Rapha, we pray for Your supernatural protection and healing in our sufferings. We are never alone. For our pain causes You pain. Our broken hearts break Your heart. You identify with our pain, and You have the power and authority over all things that the enemy forms as weapons against us to cause us harm. We proclaim Your promise that Your people will prosper (Jeremiah 29:11).

As the Apostle Paul proclaimed, we are hard-pressed but not crushed.

2 Corinthians 4:8-9
We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed—

Although, it may appear that the enemy is winning, we know that God’s manifesting power for us is greater than anything that comes against us (2 Kings 6:16). The struggles we encounter cannot compare to the joy set before us (James 1:2).

Lord, come and release the pain. Release us from the grips of despair. You are our reprieve. Draw us close to Your chest and comfort us with Your presence. In Your presence, we are safely sheltered.

Isiah 41:10
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

The Lord, our God is always near, for even through the trials and tribulations of life, we never walk alone. He is our wealth and the Lord of our well-being. For His heart for us is to enjoy good health.

3 John 1:2
“Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.”

Matthew 11:28-30
“Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

May you who are weary today find rest for your weary souls in the presence of the Lord, and may He grant you peace of mind, body, and soul. In the harshest days, may our God, our Savior, cradle your pain away with His love. May you find shelter and relief in our Lord. Be blessed!
