The Beautiful Plan of God

In the midst of what seems like chaos, God does have a plan, and His plan is sure, and His plan is good. We may not be able to trust in what we see around us, but we can trust in His plan for us.

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

In today’s photo, there is a plant, a spider web, and raindrops. The plant has its own purpose. The spider web was created for its purpose. The raindrops possess their purpose. But together, a new purpose was formed, a purpose of beauty. And the photographer noticed the beauty that was created and formed in that moment, and she stopped to capture the display of God’s creative wonder. She then shared that beautiful display with others, and today we share it with you. There was a good and beautiful plan in that moment, and God has a good and beautiful plan for His Bride, His Church, His Remnant, His very own.

If we stop, look, and take notice, there is beauty all around us. Creation always displays His glory and His nature – His nature to be merciful, His nature to be kind, His nature to be gentle, and His nature to always love. And His desire is to create His beautiful nature in each one of us.

Although we do not worship the creation, we do adore and worship the One who created all things. And how it must delight the Lord, for us to notice and delight in His handiwork.

Psalm 19:1
The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork.

We are His handiwork. His chosen priesthood. We are His good plan, and His purpose for us is to fulfill His good plan here on earth. Rest assured, He has a plan for His Church and it is good. Even through the hardships, there is a plan to bring us into all that He has promised. God is a good God with a good plan, and He is faithful to provide for those who are His through the hardships of the journey to reach the destination of all that is good. Nehemiah’s plan to build the wall was a good plan, and The Lord faithfully provided for His people as they sought Him through great adversity to press forward and accomplish the plan of restoration.

Colossians 1:16
For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.

1 Peter 2:9-10
But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.

God’s plan is restoration and reconciliation of all things back unto Himself, and as He does this, He deals with us mercifully, gently, and tenderly through every storm, every trial, and every circumstance as He escorts us safely to His eternal purpose and plan.

Father, You are the God of tenderness and mercy who gathers us in Your arms. With gentleness, You lead Your people into all that is good.

Isaiah 40:11
He will feed His flock like a shepherd;
He will gather the lambs with His arm,
And carry them in His bosom,
And gently lead those who are with young.

Lord Jesus, You are our good Shepherd, and You know how to gently lead the sheep of Your flock. Your life on earth was a good plan, and Your Father carried You through Your suffering, Your death, and all that opposed You and came against You. And that good plan made it possible to defeat death, to restore life, and to reconcile all things back to Your Father. This was and has always been the good plan of the Father. So, Lord, may we, the sheep of Your very own pasture, allow You to shepherd us through all we face now and in the future. May we be teachable as You feed us and teach us Your way and gently instruct us to follow You on the path of life.

Hosea 11:3-4
“I taught Ephraim to walk,
Taking them by their arms;
But they did not know that I healed them.
I drew them with gentle cords
With bands of love,
And I was to them as those who take the yoke from their neck.
I stooped and fed them.”

Psalm 103:13
The Lord is like a father to His children, tender and compassionate to those who fear Him.

Father, You are saying “Come, my children. Let Me comfort you. Let Me hold you. Let Me lead you. I know your needs and all that you face. I see it all and I see you. So trust in Me, rest in Me, and you will make it through. Of this, have no doubt and have no fear for My plan for You is good, and I know how to deliver My own to their destination. I know how to make a way and get you from here to there. I’ve done it before, and I’m doing it now.”

Isaiah 66:12-13
This is what the LORD says: “I will give Jerusalem a river of peace and prosperity. The wealth of the nations will flow to her. Her children will be nursed at her breasts, carried in her arms, and held on her lap.
As a mother comforts her son, so I will comfort you, and you will be comforted in Jerusalem.”

Yes, Father. We trust in You. We choose to rest in You. We thank You for holding us and comforting us and leading us. Above all, we thank You for loving us. And we love You, our good Father. For You say, “I know your desires, for I created your heart. I know your thoughts, for I created your mind. And I want you to know you are precious in My sight and deeply loved.”

Jeremiah 31:16-17
Thus says the LORD:
“Refrain your voice from weeping,
And your eyes from tears;
For your work shall be rewarded, says the LORD,
And they shall come back from the land of the enemy.
There is hope in your future, says the LORD,
That your children shall come back to their own border.”

Luke 12:32
Do not be afraid and anxious, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

So, do not be anxious this day. God is at work, He hears the cries of your heart, He has a plan. For it is God’s good pleasure to restore and reconcile all things. No matter how difficult the journey along the way, God’s plan is always good and always a sure thing!
